Retinitis Pigmentosa Cure : Retinitis Pigmentosa is a degenerative disease that usually starts with night blindness, then tunnel vision, leading finally to total blindness.

There is no known cure for Retinitis Pigmentosa at the present time, due to complex genetic causes. There are a number of variants, geneticists have determined that more than 30 different genes are involved.

There exists a unique palliative treatment developed in Cuba by the eminent Prof. Dr. Orfilio Peláez Molina. Over the past 20 years more than 6000 patients from many countries have received this treatment, practised only in Cuba.

This treatment is based on the revascularisation of the retina, bringing new oxygen to the cells of the retina.

For most patients the treatment stops the degradation so that the patient keeps the eyesight that remains; they do not become blind.
