Retinitis Pigmentosa : Retinitis Pigmentosa is a genetic disease characterized by a slow deterioration of the retina, eventually leading to total blindness. There are a number of variants but first symptoms, including loss of night vision, normally appear at the beginning of adulthood.
Due to complex genetic causes, there is no known cure for Retinitis Pigmentosa. The Cuban physician, Pelaez Molina, developed a palliative treatment to stop the degeneration which uses a combination of surgery, ozonotherapy and electrostimulation. Thousands of people from many countries have benefited from this Cuban treatment which may be the only hope to preserve their vision. Vision specialists in Canada and the United States do not recognize the treatment available in Cuba. But those who have had the courage to go to Cuba to receive the treatment have returned with better vision. Health Services International helps people of all countries to receive this unique treatment for retinal pigmentosa in Cuba. |
